My name is Tom Bleicher. I am a 24 year old Graphic Design Major out of Southern California. I reside in the city of Northridge and attend Los Angeles Pierce College. I am in my final semester.

I was first introduced into the Photo world by my Grandfather, who worked professionally for UCLA as a premeire photographer in the medical field. Long retired, he's still my biggest influence in photography.

During high school, I decided to take a digital imaging course. By the end of the school year, I had already decided what I wanted to do with my life. I proceeded to enhance my knowledge in this exciting and growing career by taking more classes, eventually landing myself in the Yearbook Graphic Design chair. Responsible for the cover design and other miscellaneous graphics, I put together a gameplan. After hard work, our book was printed and had received Awards and National Recognition from Walsworth Publishing.

After graduating with honors from Palmdale High School in 1999, I decided to further my knowledge. I registered at Pierce College as a part time student. I am currently 6 units away from graduation which I will have this fall.

Currently, I am employed with the Metroplitan Water District through Parsons Infrastructure and Technology as a Presentation Developer and Technical Writer. My duties include various aspects of design. From Photography to Powerpoint Presentations, I am responsible for all media on the $1.2 Billion Inland Feeder Project. I have provided thousands of photographs outlining the history of the project as well as monthly status presentations which include photo manipulation, animation and some videography.

I look forward to finishing school and working full time in a studio for a large company. Eventually, i'd like to begin my own ventures in design and work full time in freelance. I am currently building my client base.
